Local Activities
connecting people with nature
TEAM BUILDING:
Group building activities can help to build unity for those who don't know each other well. From a blind maze to a human knot, to crawling through a "spider web", activities are designed to break down barriers and build cohesion within the group. Plus they are downright fun ways to spend time together.
GROUPS:
We will plan a trip with your group's interests in mind. Tell us what you want to see or accomplish and we will create a programed trip. NatureStabler will provide a host to take care of logistics during the adventure so that everyone in the group can enjoy the venues and activities.
If you have a small group, we can advertise and attempt to fill the rest of the bus so that it will keep expenses down for all participants. NatureStabler will also, with your approval, contact other "like minded" groups to help make the adventure happen.
Consider trips such as:
bird watching
visiting gardens
exploring our state forests
exploring other natural areas to the north or south
visiting historical locations connected to the environment
creating thematic experiences such as the development of Penn's Woods
An example:
Visit the Maryland Shore of the Chesapeake Bay to learn about the bay, its provision of work and food and also visit natural areas for bird watching. A one or two night event
